I have the stock 1965 Dodge Dart GT Dash pad with two decently sized cracks through it. I want a diy yourself solution to repairing this dash. Someone suggested using some foam and vinyl to clean it up, but i'd like to keep it as true to original as possible. here are some, bad pics, I can take better ones tomorrow.

Sorry to say, but there is not a good DIY to repair a dash that I'm aware of. A buddy of mine does it for a living with a company called Dr.Vinyl. He repaired the cracks in another friend's dash in about 2 hours. It takes a lot of skill to match the filler to the existing dash, and then get the grain right also.

I've heard mention of using a marine type vinyl. Find a grain that is close to yours and you can stretch it over your old pad using spray adhesive to hold it on.
