Hey guys.... I am wanting to replace the dizzy in my car. Just looking for a heads up on what a good choice might be.
Currently I am running a MP brand and well... after much fussing with it have just decided I dont want it anymore (long story) no need to go into it.

What have ya all had good luck with thats out there ?
With Vac advance

360 (60 over)
Comp 268XE cam
J heads with 2.02 / 1.60 Valve job and porting etc..
Eddy RPM intake
Holley Street Avenger
MSD blaster and pretty much stock ignition
727 trans 3500 stall
3:91 suregrip
blah blah blah....

shoot me some ideas.... thanks

I like the MSD pro billets. Easy to alter mechanical advance and curve. Fairly easy to find used and new are about 200ish IIRC.

With vac advance... nope.

The E-curves work well with and have vac adv. They aren't cheap.

there are new MSD pro billets with built in ECU. you just use an MSD blaster coil, no ballast very simple hookup. does not require any external ignition boxes. has a rev limiter built-in. costs double the MP distributor. but basically you are getting an MSD dizzy with a built-in MSD ign.

I also want something with vac advance, and not $$$$ for the E curve.
