Do Hoods Have VIN Stamp??

Quick question. Does anyone know if the dart bulge hoods from 1969 have a vin stamped somewhere on them? I saw an add for a found hood with a VIN after it, just wondering how they knew what cat it came from.

I have never seen one with a vin on it. Nore have I hered of such a thing. But it could be posible.

As for theme knowing the vin the hood came from? You could only guess at that. Try calling them and asking mabby. That is the only way to know for sure I would think.

I looked at my 69 bulge hood and there is no VIN

Awesome. Thanks everyone for your help. I guess this has been put to rest. I'm still not sure how they knew what car the hood was from, but at least it's not cause there is a VIN on it!

The rad support and on the trunk lid lip under the weather strip on the driver side are the only places I've found it on my car. I've sanded almost every inch including the hood.
