I have a '69 GT convertible /6 car that someone has cobbled a 340 into, homemade motor mounts. fool even left the 7.25 rear in place. here we go, I understand that the 273 motor mounts changed somewhere in the '60s. I have read 65DartGTConv's thread on removing the K member dated 10/2012, love it, looks like the way to go for me. I have accumulated a '67 Dart 273/904 with 38K miles, also have a '74 Dart 318 car being scrapped. question is, will the '67 273 bolt onto the '74 K member correctly or is this 273 from before the mount changes? my idea is '67 273 onto '74 V8 K frame with the disc brake setup, and bolt the whole package into the '69 Dart body. add the '74 8.25 rear and hope for a fun cruiser. have I the right stuff or am I going to be in trouble somewhere? thnx in advance for any info or suggestions. paul

my car is a 70 with complete 74 parts from the radiator to the rear end with the exception of the 1969 318 bolted into the 74 k-frame ( of course with the 74 mounts). checkout my build thread for many pics on the transformation

so while i believe what you are looking to do will work i am not 100 % on the 273 because i have never dealt with one
