Dodge/plymouth export oval plate tags

Hi Everybody

I drive a 1968 (September 21st 1967) Dodge Dart GTS since 2002 and it has the Export Oval aluminium Plate Tag. Since when do they have that Plate? I thought not before 1969. Or am I totally wrong?

I don't know the answer to your question but I thought I would bump it to the top for you. The town my shop is in is named Roby so I had to post something when I saw your username.
I had a '70 or '71 Duster years ago that had the oval export plate.
You might send AlaskanT/A a pm and ask him. He has a lot of information.

As far as I know, they came into use for the 1970 model year.
 
I used to own a 69 H-code 383 GTS that was a YO9 coded export car. It had the oval aluminum plate tag.
