That’s a 69’ post title says 68’

So the guy has had it 4 years and hasn't learned anything about it, that would be a red flag to me. And why is he selling it?

Well, he might not tell me everything the knows about the car. Reason for selling is age and downsizing. My expectations are low but I still wanna check it out.

The inner fender lip in picture number 5 would have me worried , looks like it was trimmed with a cutting torch. Makes me wonder about the quality of the work under that "Bondo White" paint, that's what we called it back in the day

I think so too, will see how bad it is.

Interesting interior color combo. Never seen one in granny green with white seats and door cards. Not bad, just different. I kinda dig it, and I'm not an interior green kinda guy.

Good evening,
Thanks for the replies, I inspected the car yesterday and would like to share some information about the car. The paint job was done in a very insufficient way. Parts of the interior look ok, but it needs attention. But now to the part which made me lose the interest:
Both quarter panels have been patched and there is some evidence of an accident on the front passenger side.
Even though the seller lowered the price quite a bit, I refrained from buying.

If someone of you wants more information, please PM
I did my inspection according to Austrian and German standards on classic cars.

Wolfgang

According to the fender tag the car was originally sunfire yellow with the green upper door frames. You can see some of the yellow in the trunk picture.

I know, decoded the fender tag before I drove there. It is a very strange color combo. According to the dealer salesman handbook yellow exterior with white/green interior combination is possible but not recommended.

I love the white with the green/white interior. It looks great. Who woulda thunk? But as you discovered, there are problems. I think I'd have to pass on it too.

A little hard to see here, but a gorgeous '68 Charger in yellow. With a hideous green interior and vinyl roof. Maybe the stripe is green, too, I can't tell and don't remember. In black, it would be to me the perfect car. Of it were mine, I'd have to change it.

Yep that awful green was the hot ticket color back then. Effing horrible color for an interior or vinyl top.
