Does anyone know this car

I have only been a member a short time but i wonder if someone out there can help me.My car is a 67 notchback which i shipped from Antelope Valley Calf two years ago (see memebers car gallery).Its an origional 70s race car ,raced i was told all over Calif from 70 to 86.then it was garaged until i shipped it in 2006.It still had a certificate from the Calf fire dept dated June 1983 on the fire extinguiser.The rear slicks were the old Drag stars and were rotton.An old gate type shifter still sitting in pride of place ,old Direct Connection gauges, a time warp.But who was Jim Smith of Smittys Autos Torrence California ????? its a long shot i know but if someone out there knows him ,tell him its in good hands and lives again in sunny England
