Does anyone remember seeing a Barracuda...

Does anyone ever remember running across a 69 Barracuda with a 68 front and a weld along the roof just behind the windshield? The reason I ask is because my dad was telling me this story of how he had to weld all that in after his hood flew up and mashed the roof in in the late 70s. while her was doing that he put the front clip off the 68 donor car on his because it was in better shape. I figured it might be distinguishable enough to tell apart. It was in Carroll County MD in the late 70s the last he knew. I thought it would be cool to see if I could find it. This seemed like a good place to start since most people on here take notice of A bodies they see around.

What color was it? I don't see many second gen Barracudas around here but they do appear every once in a while.
