Anyone here make their own wheel dollies?

Anyone here make their own wheel dollies?

I just bought mine. At 39.99 a pair I didn't think it was worth it to make them. I bought them from a cheap tool discount place, bolt them together yourself, and probably made in China. They are 12" wide and I've had them on FWD cars as well as the Demon, seem to roll ok.

I agree with Keith Mopar. There are quite a few cheapie dollies out there that will do the job. I picked up 2 sets at Harbor Freight for about the same price as Keith.

I picked up some on sale at Menards. Just like the ones in Keith Mopars pic. I think I paid just under $30 a pair. They work well as long as you have a smooth surface, just as good as the ones I paid more for from Harbor Freight. But the HF dollies have better wheels, IIRC. I have enough sets for 3 cars now. They're really handy.

They're nice to have for winter storage, they let you push the car against the wall so it won't get bumped, and the round bottom dollies won't flat spot your tires.
