Dominator Air Cleaner

Could not find a air cleaner to fit my Holley 4500 dominator that looked good so I purchased Mopar Performance #DCC-5249807 from Summit, cut the center out of base to 7 5/16", flipped it over and am very happy with results. Will replace element with 4" high to increase flow. What do you think?

Looks great! I bought an airbell off of eBay for a 4500. It doesn't have the rolled/stamped edge to center the filter but I've never had and issue. Think it was $40

I like the fit & clearance and of course the look. Nice finish to this old Speed-o-motive 451ci stroker. Hope to get some run-in time on the rack soon.
