Door differences.

Hello guys

My search for a rustfree left side door for my 74 Dart is being harder then I thougt.
But now I found a 68 Dart door and I'm wondering is there a big difference between the two models??
Or are the doors interchangeble??

The only thing the same is the outer skin. It may bolt on and work but the interior and glass are different. 68 also has a wing window.

Door handle location, window crank location, and all of the internal window crank and lock hardware is different between the 68 and '74 door. The '68 door also has a metal top, where the '74 door uses a plastic trim piece, and the interior door panels are different. And of course there's a wing vent on the '68 door.

The door will bolt in place on the car and the outer sheetmetal looks the same, but that's pretty much where the similarities end.

Don't forget the most important, safety!! The 74 has a steel bar in it to protect the driver in a crash, the 68 doesn't have it.
