when painting the doors, do you usually remove the glass and if so how do you remove it all the way? i know there are two platics studs that are the bottom of the window that must be removed but how?

I will give ya a bump here. But also I am planing on leaving my window in. I have heard that it is pain to get out, put back in and harder to line it back up. So as long as it works now, my .02 would be leave it.

They are differences in designs having vent windows, frames, or no. Painting insides of doors or outsides.
As for the plastic rivet that attch glass to regulater. You can drive the center pin piece on through and not break the outer piece if you are lucky. If it does break it can be replaced with rubber tubing, cut slightly longer than glass thickness, over a small bolt with nyloc nut.

Yeah, it's a 2 person job to get it back in and lined up. You'll cut your arms to pieces trying to get it attached and you'll definitely break those nylon bushings for the window screws, and you'll definitely cuss the whole time.
good luck bro!!

When I bought my 69 Dart, the previous owner removed all the door innerds. They're empty completely. I anticipate a LOT of difficulty getting it all back into the door and have the windows work properly.

Does anyone have any advice for those of us that have already taken the plunge on this project?

Thanks in advance.

George
