Sometimes I pretend to be normal
So I was surfing a few different sites tonight and got me thinking about my door panels. When I bought my car at some point one of the owners cut the door panels to install speakers. Well the vinyl is peeling and looks like pooh. I kinda like having speakers in the door instead of the kick panel area. I dont want to buy replacement panels and cut holes in them only to have the same thing happen so I got to thinking about drag cars. They take a sheet of Aluminum cut the design out and then cut openings for the handle etc...
I dont like the aluminum look but was wondering if any of you have made your own door panels. I was thinking of that thin fiber board and then having it covered in some sort of vinyl. So curious if you have done this throw some pics up of yours and maybe what you used to make them.
