Hi!

I'm having trouble getting the door off on my V200, I can't get the piece highlighted in the photos to come off, do you guys have any tips on this matter?

This is my first time restoring an old car so instead of "brute-forcing" it, I thought I was better off asking more experienced people on the forum.

Thanks in Advance!

Although, I’m not sure in your situation, you should just be able to take the three bolts on either side of the hinge. If that thing that you’re looking at is inside of the door, I wouldn’t think any kind of attachments would be there too hard to get to.
I will make this suggestion that I have heard of. Drill two holes into each side of the hinge then you can use locating pins to put the hinge exactly back where it was.

Looks like you are up against the "limiting strap" which prevents the door from opening too far and getting damaged. I have always removed (drilled-out) the pin on the jamb side and then replaced it with a simple universal dowel-pin. Best luck! - M
