Doors cut?

Does anyone know why the previous owner would cut my doors up like this?

Looks like a speaker hole. See the small holes where the screws held the speaker in place. I assume the door panels wasn't cut so they might have been replaced down the road.

Yup.....usually they are down near your feet though.

I think you may be correct, the other side only had 1 screw hole.
The problem is, I'm not sure a speaker would fit with the door rod there and with the window down.
Plus, when the door is closed the speaker would be right against the bench seat.
All this probably means nothing as I am projecting logic on to the dummy who did it.

Any votes for access to remove the windows?

Looks just like a speaker hole to me. In the wrong spot though. Some people are not to bright.
