Dougs d450 headers in a 65?

Hi there guys. I have a 65' Barracuda I'm putting a 360 in with magnum heads. I'm not as concerned with price as much as I am ease of installation on the exhaust manifolds. Has anyone used these Dougs D450 headers in your early A-Body? If so, how'd they fit? Another thing to note is that I only have manual steering, not power. Thanks guys!

Yes. I had those on my 65 360 Valiant. They were hands down the easiest headers I ever installed and I have installed a boatload of them. Just follow the deestruckshuns and don't try to cut any corners. Also, coat the slip fit tubes with a thick coating of high temp RTV if you ever want to take them back apart.

Well they fit tight but VERY precise. It's like Chrysler birthed the car with them installed, I'd definitely buy another set if I had to do it again. Thanks for your help guys!

Whoa, beautiful engine bay! Them headers are TIGHT!! I like tight, but that's ridiculous!!
