I have a 67 cuda with a 340 and a 727 auto.. It has some old headers on it and they have shimmed the motor up about an inch on the pass. side so the headers would not interfere with the steering. I was wondering if anybody has used Dougs shorty headers and if so how do they fit, and were there any clearance issues.
Have also heard that you can use stock manifolds off of some of the later model stuff like v8 dakotas, I am just building a nice little street machine and not really against using manifolds if I just know which to get for a nice fit.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
