Drive shaft

I have a 75 valiant with a slant 6 and I'm putting a 318 in it. Can I use the drive shaft or will I need one out of a v8 car. Thanks

What transmission are you using?

(The /6 bell regardless of manual or automatic will not bolt to any V-8.)

So any other changes?

Post 4 is correct. If you use a V8 904 transmission, you can use the same drive shaft. As stated, the slant 6 transmission will not work on the 318. You will need to find a V8 904 in order to retain the same drive shaft.

Your same driver should fit and work fine.
