Driveshaft help

What is about the leanth on drive shaft in a 68 valiant 2 door with 8 3/4 rear and 727 trany ? Or best way to measure shaft

Not sure on the length but the best way to measure it is jack the car up enough for you to get under it and set the tires on blocks so the suspension is loaded as it is when it's setting on the ground. Then you slide under it and slide the slip yoke your going to use (not all slip yokes are the same length so that's why you need to measure with the one you plan on using) in the trans all the way then pull it out 3/4"~1" and measure the center to center distance of the u-joints and that'll be how long the driveshaft needs to be.

I am showing in 69 parts manual a dart with 727/8.75 DS length at 47.81". valiant only lists with 904/8.75 but I cant imagine that they are any different.
