Currently have a 489 case with at least a 3.91 rear gear. If i swap that out for a more street friendly 741 case with 3.23 's, is there any difference in case length to cause my driveshaft not to work? Or any other possible problems?

I would think it will be just fine. You might have a different size ujoint though. If you want to get rid of the steeper gears ( If it's a suregrip ) please pm me. Thanks, Kevin

Driveshaft length will be the same but like stated it may use a differant U-Joint. You can buy a conversion U-joint to re use your driveshaft.
