Drop in Motor first, or Steering box first?

Is it easier to install the steering box then the column?

When I put my box in with the column installed I had issues with the sleeve that connects the column to the box not wanting to slide all the way back. But was able to do it with some persuasion.

I dumped my PS too. I can barely tell the difference.

I know it's another expense........it's always another
expense, but now is the time to seriously consider
moving up to power steering. Just sayin'

Not everyone wants power steering...or brakes...or windows...or etc.
