Dropped base for aircleaner

Does anybody make a dropped base to install a stock aircleaner top on a stock lid on
a 360 with an Edelbrock Performer manifold and a 1405 carb? I want to keep the
the original lid and be able to close my hood. Thanks for all replies and this great forum.

Not that I am aware of. A dropped base only comes in aftermarket air cleaners. I run a 2" drop and a filter top on my Holley.

You may have to modify your air cleaner.

I did one for my wife's conversion from 1bbl to 4bbl on her slant six.

Mancini sells a drop base for the 13" Mopar performance air cleaner, not sure if that will work for your application. They have a 13" diameter. All the other drop bases are 14". Looks like Mancini is currently out of stock though

Thanks for your replies. I think Mancini has what I need. It says fits
Edelbrock carbs. Will let you know when it gets here.
