I was wondering what I could do for a k member. I don't have 4,000 for one from alter-k-tion.

What would a less expensive option?

Someone makes motor mounts for the original k frame. I thought it was tti but i couldent find them on the website.

If it comes to it, you could always do a custom set-up. These seem hard to beat for the $120 price tag. If one was to go this route, I suggest having the headers/manifolds inplace for mock up.

Coooool!

Now I gotta get the right mounts, those weld in ones a few posts up are what I need right?

Like I said....if it comes to it. The weld ins are deffinately not the easy way to go... I don't know about the early a-bodies. Call TTI and ask if thier mounts will work on your application. http://www.ttiexhaust.com/ContactUs/ContactUs.htm

The weld in mounts and brackets may need modification. That's why you need your exhaust manifolds / headers (and everything else) in place to check clearences during mock up.

Hope this helps and good luck.8)

in that article is shows an adaptor plate for the rear part of the motor, but their site dosent and they acted like it hasnt been done before.
