I am doing some homework before I bring the car home. 1976 Dart Lite, Manual EVERYTHING (brakes, steering, non ac)

He says it's drums.

I have looked around, and there seems to be little for 73-76 Dart for conversions.

What is recommended. I am not in range of spending 1050 (MPower) for front kit..... I checked www.scarebird.com, but they only service up to 72. It seems that most of the 73-76 had discs already. So am I stuck looking for a 73-76 to convert?

You should have large ball joint uppers on the car. If you do, you need the spindles out from a 73-76 a body or you could use F body stuff as well. Get a 73-76 disk proportioning valve, master and new lines and you're set to go.

Basically the same swap as described in the mopar action article.

Check the ball joint castle nut. If it's a 13/16 or 7/8 you have BBJ and don';t need the uppers control arms for the swap. SBJ has a 5/8 nut, IIRC.

I might have a set of spindles on out for sale.

So swap the spindles, if I have the big ball joints, and then I can use the stock caliper rotors, and caliper adapters, for the 73-76 disc setup?
Do I need a caliper bracket, and does your spindles have that.

Count me interested!
