Hi I'm going to swap my front drumbrakes to discs using a kit from cpp, and I'm wondering if I could use my old power brake booster that I used for the drums on discs or if I have to buy a new one to get this to work?

The booster should be fine prob have to change the master and add a proportional valve though.

I would se what the manufacturer recommends. Do you have a duel reservoir master now with the brake line front/rear if so a adjustable one might work. There are a ton of threads on this just do a search.

What year booster? If it's the Kelsey Hayes style it won't work. The KH drum booster is (single diaphram) and the disc is (dual). If it's the later 73-up booster you may be ok

Okay! thanx! Can I use any junkyard proportional valve? Or does it have to be any specific?
Any disc/drum proportioning/metering vave assy. for your body or similar(E-body) will be fine. Look for one in the best physical condition/situation(covered-dry-assembled).
