I'm in the process of putting Clifford header and dual exhaust on my 67 slant Barracuda. There have been no issues with the x-pipe or the Magnaflow mufflers but there isn't really any room on the passenger side of the car to run a pipe because of the placement of the gas tank. On the driver's side (where the original pipe ran) clearance isn't an issue but on the passenger's side the pipe would be dangerously close to the leaf spring and rear axle. Anybody else have this issue? It seems strange because the 383 came with factory dual exhaust and I would assume they used the same gas tank. The only other thought I have it that it has to do with the fact that the car has the Suregrip rear end. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
