my car came from the factory with a single pipe. i have the tailpipe hangers but im trying to also put a hanger by the muffler somewhere. where the heck can i mount my hangers? any advice would be great.

if it makes any differents im running a 318 with manifolds and some exhaust i bought off craigslist for 100 bucks it has the dart tips on it.

Hey Dan, often a drilled hole is used somewhere to do this. Just as the floorpan goes upwards at the rear. Remove the rear seat to secure the bolt on the otherside if you do this.

Check my resto thread for exhaust pictures with a Jegs dual exhaust.

There should be 4 dimples on the opposite of where the single hangar mounts. This is where the factory mounted the stock hangar. Many people use the seat belt bolts to attach a bracket and nut onto.

Yup, like the guys said, remove the back seat and you`ll see the dimples in the floor for the hanger. The 2nd gen. Darts and Cudas had 3 holes. Year One used to sell the hanger, I`m not sure if they still do. You should be able to find one though with a search of the web.
