Back in the fall I bought a hood with a dual snorkel scoop on it for my Dart that I was told by the seller was an original 72 Demon hood/scoop set-up. It was recently brought to my attention (as I was preparing to take it to have it painted) that it isn't an original set-up and is actually a standard hood that had the scoop added to it. If I had known this I wouldn't have bought it as I already have a clean standard hood that I could have put a scoop on for a lot less money than what I paid for the hood I bought. Anyway, looking at the pictures before I bought it, I got the impression that it had the correct style nuts that hold the scoop to the hood as the 3 at the front that are outwardly visible look to be the correct style nuts. But as it turns out, as I was going to remove the scoop prior to paint, all of the others that are hidden up in the holes toward the back are just ordinary nuts with washers. I'd like all of the studs to have the factory style nuts so, unless I can find someone that has used originals, I was wondering if anyone here can tell me of a vendor who sells them new as I haven't had any luck so far in finding one.
