Dumb Question

The picture doesn't come up for me.

The trans dipstick is located in a tube that is on the passenger side on the rear of the block between the exhaust manifold and firewall. Right near where the rear of the engine block and the front of the trans mate on the passenger side...
 
See if these can help. Here's some pictures showing an engine and trans out of a car and you can see the trans tube and dipstick and where it comes out of the trans, and mounts to the back bolt of the trans.

Here you can see where it goes into the front of the trans and how it mounts to the top passenger bolt on the trans.

That's why I talk to myself. Sometimes it's the only way to get the answer that I want to hear.... :D

I'm polite enough to answer, and not leave myself hanging.... :twisted:

when someone hears me talking to myself, WHY do they look at me FUNNY!???? huh??????

I thought maybe the guy has a four speed?????
