Duster driveshaft questions

Could someone tell me what the correct length driveshaft would be for a 71 Duster with a 340, 727 and 8 3/4 rear? Also, same engine/rear but with a 904. I'm thinking of swapping a 340 and 8 3/4 in my car where there is now a 318 and 7 1/4. It currently has a 904 but I am not sure if I will leave it or put in a 727. Thanks.

I would measure it, any drive shaft shop will tell you how.

Measurements are your friend, that's the best way to get the shaft length correct.

The 340, 727 & 83/4 rear takes a 44.99" shaft c/l to c/l according to FSM. The 340 only came with a 727 tranny. They show a 318 which would have come with a 904 at 49.27" again c/l from front yoke to c/l of rear yoke.
