duster front hight

In Detroit, we just shoot out your tires...INSTANT lowering effect. Or loosen your torsion bars a bit but that will efect ride and handling. How high we talking and how much you looking to lower it? Rob

Just loosen the torsion bars. The 3/4 bolt on the lower
control arm. Loosening will lower the front, tighting will
raise it. Just bounce the front as you make the adjustments
this will settle the suspension. Drive it and recheck.
Make small adjustments to get the ride height you want.
Good luck. Green Duster

I dropped my 72 by backing off the torsion bars. I installed bigger bars first. Afterwhich, you'll need a front end alignment to reset your camber.

Lowering didn't make my handling suck any more then it does for an older vehicle. Count your bolt turns and watch you don't bottom out on your front rubber stops. If you don't leave a gap you front end will pound going over bumps. Also if ya got headers, best leave room so you don't bash them which could screw up your heads.
