I've owned about ever year except for the 1970.

I have a '71, '73, '75, '76. Never owned a 340 car or nothing really rare.

Thinking of Demonizing the '75 though...

Had a '74 sunroof car that was beyond rusted out...

my 72 i bought in highschool. drove it 2yrs with the /6. now im in college and i swapped in a 360,727,8.25 i built the entire thing, eng trans and all.

1971 was the year with the least produced 340 dusters so therefore they are the rarest planning to get the 408 stroker kit i love my car

'71 Duster Twister 318 4speed
'73 Gold Duster (For sale/trade????)
'75 Duster
'76 Duster

Another '73 that's a stripped out parts car.

Mine's a '72. Bought it in 1984 for $25. It was just a shell, minus fenders. Almost scrapped it out too in favor of a '70 but after looking at it on blocks in the junkyard I remembered why I wanted that specific car when I was 16 so I brought it back home. Good thing too-the '70 was a victim of good ol' midwest rot.

It's time has come. I've been blasting fiddly bits for a month now, some for cad plating (hardware) and some for paint (brackets, etc.). The shell goes up on the rotisserie at work sometime this fall and it gets the full deal. It may take a couple years to wrap it up but when it's done I'll have a brand new version of the "musclecar" I wanted when I was in high school.
