Duster quarter window-Help!

I'm looking for the white plastic channel that slips over the leading edge of the quarter windows on our '72 Duster (where the glass pivots when the window is opened),the originals have turned to dust! Does anyone make these anymore? Thanks! Rod in Wi.
 
I made a similar post a couple weeks ago. Hopefully we will find something that will work here...

I managed to find some NOS pieces but they weren't cheap.

That's one piece I haven't seen reproduced. It's a flocked piece of plastic and there is/was a right and left side.

OEM part number: 2965 638-9 (for '70-'71 anyway - perhaps it was superceded)

I've had people ask me where I got mine. One came from Deception Pass Motor Parts http://www.dpmotorparts.com/ (I bought their one and only piece)

and another from: Collector's Auto Supply http://www.collectorsautosupply.com/

The latter still has them and is even claiming that the one part number will work on both sides. Apparently they also feel they're now worth more than gold with a price even more outrageous than what I paid.

But anyone who collects and sells old NOS parts may have them. Happy searching!

If someone could reproduce the part, they'd make a fortune. There's not much to it but also not easy to make at home.
