Can someone with a '70-'72 Duster and someone with a '70-'72 Valiant measure the lenght of their hood for me? I think that I have a Valiant hood, and I really need a Duster hood?

I have a '75 Swinger that I bought either a Duster or Valiant hood for. My Swinger has the one piece fenders. I expected that the fenders for the Swinger and the Duster/Demon were all the same. Bought the grille, valance, bumper and thought all was good. But the hood is 1-1/2" shorter than the fenders. I'm just trying to figure out what gives?

I really just want to change the beaked nose of the '75 over to the flat '70-'71 Plymouth front.

70-72 Dart/Demon front clips are interchangable and are the same.
73-76 Dart/Dart Sport front clips are interchangable and are the same.
It is possible to install an entire front clip from a 70-72 Dart/Demon onto a 73-76 Dart/Dart Sport or 73-76 Duster for that matter.

70-72 Duster/Scamp/Valiant front clips are all the same, including the hoods.
70-76 Duster/Scamp/Valiant fenders are the same but will not interchange with or are the same as 73-76 Dart/Dart Sport fenders.

It is possible to change the hood, grille and bumper on a 73-76 Duster/Scamp/Valiant and make it look like an earlier Duster but you CANNOT use Duster/Scamp/Valiant parts with your Dart fenders. You will have to replace your Dart fenders with 70-76 Duster/Scamp/Valiant fenders.
