e body 4 speed in an a body

has anybody but an e body 4 speed in an a body? if so what did you use for the floor, an e body floor hump. what about the rug. does the seat hit the hump. any pics

much easier to just get a a body trans or swap the shaft and tail, way less head ache

That is the route I went. I had a 308 bearing '70 B/E trans and bought the Passon Performance A-body aluminum extension housing. Found an NOS 30 spline A-body mainshaft and some shift rods. It was not cheap but everything fits.
