E body buckets in an A Body

I have a 1971 Demon. Looking to put front buckets. Found a set of 73 E body front buckets, with no tracks on them. I realize the tracks are A Body specific, but is the seat itself the same frame.. etc? I would be putting the 71 Demon seat upholstery on them from one of the catalog guys.. I assume if the seat is the same (recline lever etc), I would be able to attach the rear plastic kick panels on the seats as well somehow? I did search by the way, and because of the short search terms "e body" "a body" seat swap I got all kinds of weird results.View attachment 01313_TwAT5iZ22w_600x450.jpg

Better sell those and get the correct hard back style for your 71 covers to work.

From what I've gathered so far I think the seats themselves may actually be the same. I am pretty sure I can attach the backs to the seats. Can anybody verify this?

If your E-Body seats are the softback style which I believe they are in 73, then NO the plastic backs won't work as the seat release mechanism is different....
