E44 230hp 318 in 74?

It tells me 2 interesting things....

I have 1 of 70 code C15..... deluxe seatbelts lol
and the E44 which says it has a 230hp 318 2 barrel

G4B: 318 150HP(net) or 170HP(net) 1-2BBL 8 CYL

35992: Sequence number

E44: 318 cid 2 barrel V8 230hp

Which hp is the correct?

Did a 230hp version exist in 74? Is this Flywheel hp? My Grandma owned this car and then me so I know the tag has never been tampered with.

To the best of my knowlage,230 Gross was at the flywheel.150 Net was at the wheel with all accessories attached. I'm sure I'm wrong but close.
