E85 FUEL

Anyone here run E85 fuel ? I have a small block with a super charger. Im running a blow thru carb. Having issues with it idling rich. Do you think running E85 fuel would help or hurt. I found that you can run a mix of E85 and regular pump gas. Not sure if thats true or not

Maybe contact Marks Sullens E85 or Eric Niefert with Horsepower Innovations. Both good E85 guys. I hear good things about ATM also. You'll want a dedicated E85 carb. No need to mix with pump gas. That will just lower the ethanol content. Learn as much as you can about it. It's a great cheap race fuel but its a bit of an investment to set up to run it. I run it in an na application with a Horsepower Innovations carb.

You need to change the tune for the fuel. Not change the fuel for the tune. If you cannot tune to the fuel you run now, you likely cannot tune to another fuel.
