Do any parts interchange from the later model "rebuild kits" for steering couplers?

I'm gradually getting more and more slop in the coupler (not the box), and before I tear into it, I need to know where to find parts that fit or interchange.

Anyone know for sure?

PLEASE help, this project is important.

If I remember right there are 2 different shell sizes. Can you get a picture of the coupler with some measurements? The shell lengths I think are the only difference. If the coupler shell is worn internally you might want to look for a new shell and innards. To start though, post a pic!

Check this out, maybe it will have what you need.

Thanks, but all of those appear to be '62 and up

Still no luck.
Searching Ebay and calling a list of new and used Mopar parts suppliers.

Does anyone have a used '60-'61 A Body with a tight coupler?

getting desperate here :(
