No problem. Would rather see it go to use, than hanging on my garage wall.

It will! I have a 64 Slant 6 car with a/c. I recored the radiator but it still runs hot in the summer. This will let me keep my setup without hacking up my core support. I've been praying one of these would show up. :)

What size is this, 22" or 19"? They made 2 different metal shrouds for the early a-body, both are pretty rare. I had both, didn't even know the one was smaller till I compared them. I believe the 19" one was used on some 273 2bbl cars with A/C and slant six cars with A/C.

It is for the 22in by 17.5in (I think it is 17.5) That is the size my 65 273 car came with.

Crap! My search for a 19" shroud continues. :( Good luck with your sale.

The '61-'64 shrouds (ring-and-legs style) are not the same as the '65-'66 shrouds (box style). There were '65-'66 shrouds for 19" and 22" radiator widths. Also the shrouds differ by engine; a slant-6 shroud won't work with a V8 or vice versa because of fan placement differences.

This what's in the auction appears to be a '65-'66 shroud for 22" radiator and V8 engine.

Thanks for the expertise as always, Dan. Given that I for, I'd imagine these 19" Slant shrouds are rarer than hen's teeth.

      At one time I had a collection of fan shrouds: I had a '64 ring-and-legs slant-6 item (sure wish I could remember what I did with it! I know I didn't sell it and I know I didn't throw it out, but I have no idea where it is…lost in a move, or???). I had 19" and 22" '65-'66 slant-6 shrouds and I think I had a 22" '65-'66 V8 shroud, too.

      It's a bad sign that I have so much stuff I can't remember what-all I've got or where-all it is. :-(

A bidder will 1100 feedback has bid 4 times on this. It looks like he wants it pretty bad.

Too bad for the bidder he needs someone else to push it above the reserve.

Once he hits a bid that meets the reserve it will be met even without another bidder.

The reserve is not to high. I usually do not use them, but I did not want to give it away either LOL

      He must be bidding small.

Like a fish nibble at it and then snap at the last minute. It will be interesting to see if another bidder comes in at the last minute and snipes it. I can hear him cussing now. I won an auction once by a penny and lost one by 67 cents on a $300+ auction. I still can't believe I lost that fricking auction by only 67 cents.

You win some and lose some, that's for sure. I just try to remember the small victories...like that time I won an auction by 67 cents!
