Well, I went out and measured today. The B body axle in question is 3" wider than the factory 7.25 that's currently in the car. With the 1" wheel adapters that are currently on the factory rear axle, the difference between the two axles is 1/2" per side.

It WILL work......................but, it would require a 15x7 wheel with 5.5" of backspacing. Possibly a late model mustang wheel would work with a large back space, but that's not the look were going for on this car.

It wouldnt leave much space between the tire and outer wheel lip. Ours were previously clearanced by rolling the lip, and it still was tight. The springs are getting moved under the frame, but in the stock location, the tire would almost touch the spring.

I couldn't find much written about this, so I figured id post my findings. Seeing how much a body 8.75 axles are commanding these days.
