Early a K frame mod questions

Have any of you purchased the Firm feel K-frame reinforcement kit for the early A-body K-frame? If so, what all comes with it and do you have pictures? The firm feel web page doesn't show much and it looks as though you need to call them with questions and to place an order.

Next question. Have any of you modified your early A-Body K-frame to accept the later K-frame spool type engine mounts and the later design double mount idler arm bracket?

I have a spool mount V-8 K-member that I'm thinking about cutting the mounts off of. I haven't taken measurements as of yet and I haven't looked into the dimensions or the geometry of the idler arm yet. I also have no idea if the spool mounts will interfere with installing my 340, clutch linkage, and or Dougs headers.

Any thoughts or insight would be greatly appreciated.

I got the Firm Feel kit a while ago, as I've been accumulating parts for my car for a couple of years. I am local to them, so I had their guru show me where the pieces went on a loose K-frame they had lying there. Photos are below. Sorry I'm not going to be much more help then the photos, it's been so long I don't remember any other details - I will have to go over there with my K-frame and parts to get a refresher when I work up the nerve to weld these in place. And that may be a bit, I'm nobody's idea of a welder.

If that's all that is in that kit I think I'll break out my plasma cutter and make my own. There isn't anything real complicated about any of those pieces.
