Early A leaf Spring Replacement Help

I am swapping out my rear end to an 8,3/4 om my 64 Dodge Dart & was planning on using the original springs because it was a 273 V8 model, and just upgrading to poly bushings! Then I decided to $ out new leafs but could only find 65 & up!


My 1st question is what is the difference if any & what is interchangeable

i just bag some springs from another dodge b or c body and swap in a new stack . did my 64 barracuda and my 69 dart that way . you can get the parts to build the spring at an good auto parts store . thats from my dart stock main leaf , and the rest a mix .

i am running new ESPO springs - 6 leaf HD, stock ride height (flat spring). they are cheap enough to buy new, but you can cobble a set together as long as the main spring isn't too hammered.

64 is the same as 65 and up. You may need to drill the front spring hanger to accept a larger front bolt.
