Does anyone make gaskets for the side glass on an early a body wagon? Checked the Steele rubber products catalog and no luck... I don't think I can get the side glass out without cutting the gasket...

I can order these up........

GG-W130 1963-66 A-Body Station Wagon -
Rear side glass seal -- enough for one side
only. $159.00 ea

GG-W131 1963-66 A-Body Station Wagon -
Chrome plastic lockstrip used with
#GG-W130. Enough for one side $ 49.00

I would say you can remove these without cutting. If it has a lock strip-- you should be able to remove.
#1 make sure it's hot/sunshine.
#2 remove said lock strip
#3 use wedges made of plastic or wood (like shims from home depot)
slowly seperate the glass from the rubber(might have to cut some sealant)-- once you have a corner it will come out quickly
use the shims to hold it & roll the rubber lip- presto out it comes.
Getting it back in -- I cannot help-- never tried, Lawrence

Thanks Rick and all that replied... I will attempt VDART's method and try to save them... If not I will contact Rick. Thanks again...

Hi Rocky - I believe one of the Aussie companies has all the early A wagon gaskets, including all the hard to find stuff for the tailgate. I can check on it when I get home.
