My 64 is first early cuda I've gotten that actually has the rear seat hold down straps.
Anyone have a picture of or know how these rascals are attached.
Thanks

They attach at the base of the 1/4 trim panels, at the floor. There should be a cut out at the bottom. The top, loop piece goes over the end of the latch bar, when the seat is lowered.

They used a couple of sheet metal screws if I remember. It's been 20 years since I last took one apart and put it back together.

I had them for 4 years before I even knew what they did......

I improvised with sheet metal screws. Thanks.
First set I've ever had and thought they would be cool to add.
Most were probably tossed back in the day.lol

I had a set of these on my parts car. I thought they were somebody's mickey mouse attempt at adding seat belts so I threw them away. :BangHead:

They were put on the Barracudas to keep a rear seat that had been folded down from rapidly unfolding and slamming into the open position when you floored it. The rapid acceleration of a Commando 273 could quickly exceed 10 g's!
