Early style duster hood

So, I have started the work on my 1976 duster and want to change a couple of things on it....I'm partial to the 70-72 flat tyle hood/grille combo, has anyone ever converted their 73-76? I think a nice hemi scoop would look better on the flatter hood? What are your thoughts?

I don't believe the contours of the straight early hood will match or at least look decent with the later model grille. Swapping in the early grille won't match up with the later bumper either.

People have swapped out the entire front clip to the earlier version, but it naturally gets expensive and you would have to do some fabrication to install the early "normal" bumper brackets in place of the "shock absorber" versions that are on yours.
