Someone said fuel can? Good idea unless you know your fuel gage.
Most aren't right. Mine usually drop fast and hang around empty for a long time.
Last time I drove west coast to east coast I carried a spare alternator and starter.
I had a small trailer though.
If you starter dies you won't have to hunt one.
Heavy but not very much space.
