FABO Members,

I need a good MIG welder to do some panel replacement on my two a-bodies. I was wondering if anyone has bought and used one of those new MIG welders that Eastwood offers. If so, I would like to know how they perform. Or, if you have any recommendations for any other types of MIG welders out there let me know about them as well.

Thanks,

Eric

If only using it for sheet metal and some mild steel, go to Tractor Supply and get yourself a Hobart 140, Great little machine for the money.

I have a Hobart 140, nice little welder for the price, and, while I am still learning,, I have been able to do quite a few repairs using this welder, and it's 120v and versatile.

I also have a Hobart. Look closely at the parts. Even the handles says "Miller" right on it. :)

Yeah, Tractor Supply, I got a Hobart 180 (220v) good price. Eastwood is a rip on anything they sell.
