Don't know as there is more than one type. Do you have a part number?

Side note: dependent on part number- some are only made to be used vertically and some work in any position. Some have a built in resistor and some made for specific manufacture and resistors.
Part numbers mean everything LOL!

Don't need a ballast with MSD6 or MSD6AL

it is a MSD 8202 round coil mounted horizontle & it is a regular OE 4 pin ECU electronic ignition just to get it running & confirm everything is kosher tho I will likely end up with a MSD circle track HEI race module or a pertronix 2070 race HEI module mounted under the dist since I have the adapter plate tho I can go in a different direction with all of this if advised.
