ebay R3 9.0 short block

anybody here score the R3 short block that was on auction all week? Even came with the head stud kit ($$). somebody got a nice set up for $1250 assuming everything was as usable as the auction said. Auction started at $500. I know of a good W8 top end for sale... we're talking close to 900HP for right around 10K by the time you've spent for the loose ends.
